The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through its contractor Tetra Tech ES and the Aga Khan Foundation USA (AKF USA) have allocated grants for the Cross-Border Energy in Shugnan District (CBESD) for the electrification of Viyod, Tijmoy and Pidrud villages in Shugnan of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (IRA).

1. "Pamir Energy” Company now invites sealed bids from qualified bidders for the supply of 508 sets of electric meters and accessories for the end users in Shugnan, Afghansitan.
2. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures in accordance with the procurement policies of USAID and the Aga Khan Foundation, and is open to all bidders..
3. Interested qualified bidders may obtain further information from Pamir Energy Company, Business Development Unit, and inspect the Bidding Documents in English languages electronically or at the address given below from May 21, 2012, 9-00 to 17-00 hours (Dushanbe time).
4. Bid documents can be obtained from Pamir Energy Company in English language by interested bidders upon submission of request to the below mention address.
5. Sealed bids must be delivered to the addresses below in English, Tajik or Russian languages at or before June 29, 2012 at 15.00 hours Dushanbe time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 16.00 hours Dushanbe time on June 29, 2012.
6. Commercial offers should include the following information:
Acceptable bid price (Pamir
Energy Company is free of VAT, therefore
the participants must indicate the cost
of VAT separately);
Acceptable payment terms;
The goods are to be delivered on
terms of CIP Khorog, GBAO, Tajikistan
according to INCOTERMS 2000;
Packing;
Validity of the offer;
Country of original;
All supplied goods shall be designed
and manufactured according to relevant
IEC and GHOST Standards and the supplier
shall provide certificate of quality.
Pamir Energy Company reserves the rights to
accept all or part of the competitive bids.
