Description - Description: According to the new concession, SBB must dose the cold water from Lake Sihl into the Sihl at the "In den Schlagen" dam every month in stages, with additional dosing to achieve a minimum flow rate in Sihlwald. Endowment water must be use d for energy purposes in an endowment plant. If the quantity of endowment water exceeds the absorption capacity of the turbine, the missing quantity of water is discharged through a cone jet valve. The power plant and the endowment facility are located on the orographic left bank of the Sihl, directly at the foot of the dam.
