Description - Description: According to the new concession, the SBB must discharge cold Sihlsee water into the Sihl at the In den Schlagen dam on a monthly basis, with additional discharge to achieve a minimum flow in Sihlwald. The discharged water volume is to be used for energy in a discharged power plant. If the discharged water volume exceeds the turbine's capacity, the missing water volume is released via a cone jet valve. The power plant and discharged water system is located on the orographic left bank of the Sihl, directly at the foot of the dam.
