Description - Contract Awarded for Power supply contract for 110 MWp of photovoltaic (PV) projects in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais.Under the terms of the deal, the company will develop and build three solar power facilities in Pirapora. The electricity gene rated by them will be sold to Camara de Comercializacao de Energia Eletrica (CCEE) at a price of BRL 300 (USD 80.8/EUR 75.6) per MWh.The three plants are seen to reach commercial operation by late 2018. With them, Canadian Solar’s Brazilian pipeline has now increased to 384 MWp.
