Description - Description SSEN is the electricity distribution network operator in two distinct regions in the United Kingdom and is legally obligated to maintain and operate the electricity distribution network to maintain supply to our customers.As part of our l icense to operate, we have an obligation to provide back-up power arrangements to certain customer groups and one way of doing this is to provide batteries to our customer base to enable them to power key equipment during a power outage.
