Description - Brief Description of Project: The Project is an 85 MW wind power generation project located in an area with favorable wind conditions exceeding 9m/s and has an expected capacity factor of 45%, enabling generation of 335,000MWh of electricity annually .Brief Description of Technology: The Wind Turbine size is 850kW type G52 from the Spanish Co. GAMESA. The Wind Turbine is three-blade, pitchregulated, variable speed with a proven track record in other countries. The wind plant will be connected to the national grid through 22/220 kV overhead transmission line and a local substation including step-up transformers, feeders, protection.
